Here's some important information about homework...
Homework Folders
Homework Folders are sent home on Mondays, along with the Poetry Journals. Please see the Homework Guidelines on the back of your homework folder. The spelling words for the week are included inside your homework folder and spelling tests are given on Fridays. Please do your homework neatly and carefully and always have an adult check it over when you are finished. Do not try to do all of the homework in one day. Whenever possible, try to do the assignments on the day that they are assigned.
Reading Every Day
Reading every day is an important part of your homework. First Grade is all about reading!!! Don't skip this part of your responsibility!! When you practice daily, you will notice a HUGE improvement in your reading!
Return Homework on Fridays
Bring your homework inside your homework folder on Fridays. You have a whole week to complete your work, so it should all be done and turned in on time. If there is some sort of problem, please have your mom or dad write a note- do not just skip an assignment!
